Montefiore’s School Health Program (MSHP) has four clinical  divisions: medical, mental health, dental, and community health. These work in collaboration to provide a wide range of comprehensive healthcare services.  The interdisciplinary priority service areas include healthy lifestyle, asthma care, reproductive health, emotional health, and oral health.

The SCAN New York After School Program serves students from CS 55X and the surrounding community all year long. Through homework help, structured lessons, and opportunities to teach social, life, and character-building skills. The program strives for academic and personal enrichment. Its goal is to help our students focus more, become well rounded, and perform better.

Positive Learning Collaborative provides all school staff with the skills,  knowledge, and confidence they need to safely and effectively anticipate behavior challenges before they escalate, creating a more stable and positive school  environment. The Institute achieves this through professional development or all staff, the assessment of a school’s unique needs, and on-site support from a behavior specialist. The Institute also works to develop or enhance existing school systems that identify and support individual students having trouble, thus improving the general school climate and culture.

Windows of Hip Hop an organization dedicated to educating youth on the history of hip hop has teamed up with Bulova and C.S. 55 for the opening of a state of the art recording studio!
