Our Mission at Community School 55X we dedicate ourselves to creating a safe, nurturing environment where academically rigorous, challenging, and engaging standards-based curriculum and instruction ensure that our students will achieve their highest potential and continue their lifelong quest for knowledge. Because we understand, appreciate, and respect the diversity of our educational community, we celebrate our students’ achievements and value the hard work and accomplishments of all members of our school.

By the time scholars graduate from C.S. 55 they are expected to embody the following core values:

Always Safe: We value and share a commitment to the safety of all students in our community by following the procedure and protocols that are set forth in our school building and within our community.

Responsible: We share a belief in freedom from reluctance and agree to maintain a ready and willing mental/physical state; we are always willing to collaborate, learn, and/or try something new.
